A site visit was conducted for a scheme titled construction of a Black Topped (B/T) Road from Main Saryab Road to Mir Gahi Khan Lehri Street, covering a length of 2.0 km, along with side drains. The visit was carried out by Mr. Shabir Ahmed Badini, Member CMIT, and Mr. Abdul Ghaffar, Additional Member CMIT. During the visit, earthwork filling at the street was found to have been carried out. However, the quality and workmanship of the newly constructed side drains were observed to be poor, and the concerned authorities were advised to rectify the deficiencies in accordance with approved standards and specifications.
